In 2018, D-A-D drummer Laust Sonne had a near-death experience. An experience that became a turning point in his life – and changed his perspective on life, death, and what is greater than ourselves. We have invited Laust Sonne to come and share about the experience and the path that led to it and beyond. His wife, actress Maria Erwolter, will also participate and share about life alongside Laust through some tumultuous years – and about love, crises, and the way forward. Together, Laust and Maria will talk about a life filled with rock’n’roll, alcohol and cocaine abuse, drug psychosis, separation, and breaches of trust. And not least about the turning point that the near-death experience became, and the marks it has left on Laust's life since then. Laust Sonne and Maria Erwolter published the book Laust og Maria in June 2025, where they tell their shared story. It will be possible to buy the book and have it signed during the break. After the break, Laust will sing a couple of songs from his latest album Lost Son.
